Flexible control - without frequency inverter

Switchable pole motors from NORD allow operation at two fixed speeds using one single winding. These motors offer an economical solution for applications that do not continuous speed variation via inverter.

  • Auxiliary blower fan (F) for motor cooling 
  • Incremental encoder (IG)
  • For motor protection: 3 PTC thermistors (TF), 3 thermal trips (TW), anti condensation heater to prevent unwanted condensation (SH)
  • Motor connection: Motor connector (MS) for Plug-and-Play
  • Various options from the modular product system
